Often when I’m craving eggplant I don’t even bother breading it and just make these easy roasted eggplant parmesan stacks which are super light and healthy. If you’re heating up the oven to bake the eggplant parmesan anyway, why not also use the oven to roast the eggplant? I also skipped salting the eggplant before cooking with it (which I don’t really think of as a necessary step). If I can avoid frying things I do – not only because it’s often healthier but because it’s much less messy. This recipe features eggplant slices breaded in panko breadcrumbs, which are roasted instead of fried (which is more traditional). ![]() ![]() This will stop their economy growth exponentially, and, if you can snipe enough, even give you the lead for the rest of the game. The Command & Conquer franchise is credited with defining and popularizing the real-time strategy (RTS) genre of video games. I know in the heat of an epic battle your harvesters might seem the least important, but if you find yourself with a break in the action, make sure your harvesters aren't bugging out, or worst of all, trying to do long range leeching off your ally or, even worse, your enemy's field.Īlways Try to Snipe Your Enemies Harvesters:Įspecially in the early game, if you can manage a couple of attack bikes, pit bulls, or seekers behind your enemies base, try to snipe a few harvesters. You should always have at least one more harvester than refineries, that way if you lose one, you won't have a useless refinery. Never Have a Harvester to Refinery Ratio of 1:1: If you have so much money reserved that you need a silo, you're doing it wrong, and start spending that money on units. What you should do, is for every tiberium field, have at least one refinery, and depending on the size of the field, dictate a certain amount of harvesters to it (e.g., on a tiberium field that is almost depleted, keep only one harvester there, and for a newly acquired/full tiberium field, move the majority of your harvesters there. Now after the first base, it isn't necessary to keep the 5-2 going for every field, because if you did try this, you're harvesters would be getting destroyed way too easily, and your income would be ruined. While it is expanding, you can build refineries and defenses. If lost, ConYards are expensive to replace.Īs it states using your factions expansion vehicle (Emissary for Nod, Surveyor for GDI, Explorer for Scrin) and expanding with it. If you lose your main ConYard, without any cranes or other ConYards, you won't be able to build any structures until you build another. If you don't have any cranes, or other ConYards, you won't be able to build anything until after you unpack at the field Larger Build Radius than expansion vehicle. Scrin's ConYard travels by means of air, meaning most ground units can't touch it. In the case of an ambush, ConYards can set down and immediately start building defenses or the refineries in the event of no ambush.ĬonYards (Except for Scrin's variant) can crush enemy infantry. This is simply packing up your starting ConYard, and moving it to the natural expand (the second closest field).ĬonYards can take a much bigger pounding, in case the natural or subsequent expands has an enemy ambush. Once You're ready to expand you have two options to expand, each with their pros and cons. It doesn't really matter how you get there, just as long as you get there, but it's really recommended that you don't just start off with building two refineries and three extra harvesters, you will want a scouting party to make sure you're not getting rushed. For a really solid early game economy, it's recommended to go 5-2 (5 Harvesters for 2 Refineries) on the beginning tiberium field (the one that is closest at the start of the game). It's how you buy everything from structures to units to support powers, and having a good economy is necessary to survive into the late game. Economy is the basis for everything done is Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath. I have about 200 jam tracks that I’ve made myself that I keep on my iPhone, and they sounded just fine running through the auxiliary input. The 1/8″ input jack is useful for connecting an iPod, metronome, or other useful practice too. Weighing less than 25 lbs, you can easily transport a guitar in one hand and the amp in the other. With the amp’s low weight and variety of tones, it’s obviously usable as a practice amplifier. I tested the Mustang II with a Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster which is a guitar I use for a variety of gigs given its versatility. You can also connect via USB and Fender’s FUSE software to Fender’s online community that lets you download further presets and have greater control over editing amplifier and effects parameters. For the ultimate in expansion and creativity, a USB port is also included that can be used for recording to a computer via the included Ableton Live Lite software. Connectivity options include a 1/4″ guitar input, 1/8″ aux input for CD/mp3 players, and a 1/8″ headphone jack which can also be used as a speaker-compensated line out. A wide array of modulation, delay, and reverb effects are available as well. Can it cover more than just practice amp duties? If so, can a $200 modeling amp really be as good as Fender claims? How does it stack up to the competition? Let’s look at the amp in greater detail and find out.Īs previously mentioned, the Mustang II is a 40W single channel amplifier preconfigured with 24 presets based on the included 8 amp models (based on classic and contemporary amp designs from Fender, Marshall, and others). ![]() However, once you open the amp up a bit and explore the sounds within this 40W 1×12″ package, you realize that the Mustang is one versatile little pony, capable of covering a wide number of musical situations. With the Fender Mustang II, you have a killer practice amp, a solid backup amplifier, and a decent gigging amp that offers great connectivity and room for tonal expansion. ![]() If you have back/neck pain, I wouldn't recommend the addition. Flutter kick is also a term for an ab-strengthening core exercise you do on dry land. Performing the exercise while facing down is beneficial for emphasizing your posterior musculature: the glutes, hamstrings, and lower back. The aim is to work your lower abdominal muscles. Once you get better at the motion, you can increase the exercise by pushing your feet straight up at the ceiling once you get them to the 90 degree angle. Lower them in a controlled fashion back to the floor. Put your hands over your head and grab an immovable object (I use a situp bar that goes under a door), and while keeping your legs straight, raise them up to a 90 angle. ![]() ![]() ![]() So this preliminary download - file naming correction would be very helpful in keeping my files chronologically correct. My paperless Hazel workflow rules already change the file creation date to the date prepended in the file name, using a shell script. I want to set Hazel to monitor my Downloads folder and automatically rename every PDF with a prepended Creation Date, extracted from the pdf metadata. Especially as more and more banks and online agencies move towards downloaded documentation. I suspect this renaming capability based on PDF metadata is a feature that many would want. But I was unable to create an Automator action that would rename my file because I'm unfamiliar with Automator and thus inadequate to that task. Then I found that Apple's Automator has a promissing PDF Action called "Get PDF Metadata". Here's an example: Code: Select all set theFiles to choose file with multiple selections allowed repeat with theFile in theFiles set filePath to quoted form of POSIX path of theFile set theName to do shell script "mdls -name kMDItemFSCreationDate " & filePath & " -raw" set theName to theName & ".pdf" if theName is not "(null)" then try tell application "System Events" to set name of theFile to theName end try end repeat But this code, as I say, does not equal the date in the PDF meta data. Instead, the Spotlight creation date seems to equal the download date. But the data do NOT reflect the date in the PDF file metadata. TASK: I want to read the creation date from within the PDF file, and rename the file in a format like: -Filename.pdf I discovered some nifty Applescripts and shell scripts that will rename a file based on Spotlight searched data. There it displays a metadata "Creation Date", that is the date when my bank issued the statement, not the date I downloaded the file. But my testing shows that the Spotlight Creation Date is NOT the same as the date inside the PDF file that shows when you show the Preview file inspector. Hazel seems unable to read PDF meta data, correct me if I'm wrong. What if I could simply download my statements, have them renamed based on the PDF metadata "Creation Date", and import them into EagleFiler? That would be cool and save paper too. My bank now offers a pretty cool download feature for all my documents. But now I want to cut out the US Mail and scanning with ScanSnap, and OCR and all that. ![]() In my current paperless workflow, I manually prepend the statement date in front of the file name and let Hazel change the file creation date using a shell script, to the date in the file name, -filename.pdf. PROBLEM: I want to download my bank statements instead of waiting for the USPS delivery and then laboring though the process of scanning them and OCR'ing. Any ideas how to get that? This is an old thread but I'm resurrecting it because I've been all over the interwebs and can't find a workable solution to this problem. I already tried that but it also returns the wrong date: kMDItemContentCreationDate = 2017-01- 06 08:09:09 +0000 Creation date in PDF metadata seems to be a totally different thing. If you do "Get Info" in Finder, it should show almost all the info available. Mr_Noodle wrote:You can check the content creation date. ![]() We will discuss that privately with any potential rescue.Ĥ) The rescue must have a policy about returned dogs.
